Folienwerk Wolfen GmbH has been producing smart-ecofilms for all kind of plastic cards and security documents since 1994. It started its operation immediately after Germany’s political reunion. The company’s success is based on the fact that its team of engineers and employees all had years of experience in research and development and contributed their technical know-how in the manufacturing of films. As one of the first companies in the industry, Folienwerk Wolfen produced co-extruded PET films in a 5 layer process.
